A Chorley business specialising in performance tuning units for diesel vehicles is planning for the future thanks to Lancashire County Council’s Rosebud Finance.

BVS Limited, based on Leigh Street in Chorley, has developed a range of products operating under the brand name of Tunit, which enhances the speed and power of diesel vehicles whilst also helping to maximise fuel efficiency.
Director Michael Bromley said: “I have been operating for 11 years now and have built up a national and international reputation in the marketplace.
“The actual tunit equipment can either be installed by the customer or by one of the worldwide dealers that I now have in place.

“The results of installing tunit are even more important in the difficult economic times we are all experiencing as in a recent survey we did 75% of our customers’ said that their fuel economy improved by an average of 12%.
“There are important environmental benefits to be gained as well; significantly the tunit has been scientifically proven to reduce harmful emissions by up to 27%!”

Lancashire County Councillor Sam Chapman, said: “As the local County Councillor for this area I am delighted that Lancashire County Council was able to support such an entrepreneur during a difficult time and work with him to both strengthen his business to move forward but also to crucially help him to save his business and the people he employs currently.”
Lancashire County Councillor Michael Green, Cabinet Member for Economic Development said: “It is always good to see a business paving the way towards a promising future and this is especially true in such difficult economic times.

“This is a great example of how Lancashire businesses are leading the field in new environmental technology which helps to reduce both fuel bills and carbon footprints. It is especially pleasing to know that Lancashire County Council is helping to facilitate this.
“Very importantly we have helped to safeguard 11 jobs.”
