New Look for Moor Nook Rec
Moor Nook Rec Zone will be unveiling some brand new improvements on Wednesday 28th July.
Preston City Council’s Neighbourhood Management Partnership One Voice have funded £25,000 to improve the drainage on the pitch, replace the surface, re-paint the lines and replace the basketball nets.
The local Moor Nook youth forum young people have been heavily involved with the project as well as local community members and the One Voice Young Person’s Action Group.
The Mayor of Preston Councillor Albert Richardson is opening the launch at 3.00pm. This will then be followed by a session Panna football, organised by the Sports Development team.
Local councilors will also be attending, alongside council officers from the parks department, members of the One Voice action groups, local residents, young people from the local youth forum, the police and Community Gateway.
Councillor Anthony Gornall, cabinet member for environment and regeneration, said: “These improvements have made a real difference to Moor Nook Rec, and it has been fantastic to see the local youth group get so involved in the project. The launch event is a great opportunity for the community to get together and get a first look at the completed new changes.”

My mum and I are looking to develop a blog comparable to this for our website, I stumbled across your site trying to get some ideas on the theme as well as page layout. I am taking some html coding class while attending college but not confident that I would have the capacity to create a internet site like this one at this time. Did you code this site on your own or retain the services of a professional?
very well information you write it very clean. I’m very lucky to get this info from you.
